With a heavy-duty carbide blade and carbide on both edges of its concave trimming face, the Ultimate Mash Hammer is the most wear-resistant Trow & Holden stonecutting hammer. This hammer will split and trim the hardest types of stone and require less regrinding than traditional steel stonemason’s hammers.
When the working edges of the carbide begin to show wear, the concave trimming face can be easily dressed with the same 6-in or 8-in silicon-carbide grinding wheel used to grind the blade.
